About the Company
We are an established custom home builder in Southwest Florida, specializing in high-end residential construction. Following recent expansion, we have an opportunity for an experienced project manager to join our team of dedicated professionals in a dynamic luxury home building company. Our reputation is built on delivering exceptional homes and an equally high level of client service.
The Role
We are hiring a seasoned Project Manager with proven experience building fully custom, high-end homes and a working structural understanding of what coastal construction demands. The Project Manager carries each project from budget and specifications through final completion, holding scope, schedule, and budget throughout. Day to day, the role leads assistant project managers, directs construction managers in the field, and works closely with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and design partners to bring one-of-a-kind homes to life. The role calls for a proven professional who takes pride in delivering one-of-a-kind homes and exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities
·       Provide team leadership, direction, and training to assistant project managers
·       Manage construction managers in the field
·       Build budgets, specification sheets, and option sheets for fully customized homes
·       Review various construction documents, including structural, architectural, and design drawings
·       Maintain budgets utilizing purchase orders and client change orders
·       Review invoices with construction managers for accuracy and budget alignment
·       Price and build out custom finishes with coordinators, designers, and assistant project managers
·       Work with the structural engineer and architect to address RFIs from subcontractors
·       Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
·       Utilize software including Buildertrend, Google Workspace, and related tools
Qualifications
·       Prior leadership and management experience
·       Strong time management and delegation skills
·       Excellent prioritization and the ability to meet critical deadlines
·       Structural understanding of coastal construction
·       Proficient reading architectural, structural, and interior design drawings
·       Ability to qualify estimates and build viable budgets
·       Ability to create specification and option sheets for custom homes
·       Understanding of the construction purchasing process
·       Thorough understanding of custom buildouts
·       Experience working with interior designers
·       Experience with Buildertrend a plus
