Job description

Deffenbaugh Homes is a luxury residential construction company. Specializing in custom, high-end, and thoughtfully designed homes. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Project Management team.

The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, detail oriented, comfortable with multitasking in a fast paced environment where precision and follow through are vital.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support front end leads, designs, & sales.
  • Manage the project estimate lifecycle.
  • Develop specifications & scopes of work.
  • Oversee project material & design selections.
  • Oversee contract initiation.
  • Assist with development of initial project schedule and maintain accuracy throughout the project.
  • Manage & maintain project financials.
  • Review labor reports, labor forecasting, and timecards
  • Oversee project closeout tasks, documentation, and user training.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with trade partners, vendors, clients, and colleagues.
  • Visit job sites as necessary.
  • Run project meetings and ensure all proper project documentation.
  • Promote safety, teamwork, & cooperation.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with a computer, Microsoft Office/Google Suite, & Adobe Software.
  • Experience with Construction Management Software, Scheduling Software, and Bluebeam.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Knowledge and ability to understand local and state codes.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or similar degree.
  • Residential new build construction experience required.
  • High end luxury home market experience preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Able to walk on uneven surfaces & be exposed to a variety of weather conditions while on jobsites.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and materials.
