8th Grade Math / Algebra I Teacher

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Teach 8th Grade Mathematics and Algebra I aligned to Indiana Academic Standards.
  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons that build conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and problem-solving skills.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and guide instruction.
  • Integrate technology and data-driven practices into classroom instruction.
  • Prepare students for state assessments and Algebra I End-of-Course expectations (if applicable).
  • Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment that supports student achievement.
