Program Manager โ€“ Adult Behavioral Health Services

Location: Taylor, Michigan | Full-Time |

Make a real difference in the lives of adults living with mental health challenges. Weโ€™re seeking a compassionate, strategic, and licensed mental health professional to lead our Adult Behavioral Health Programโ€”a critical service area that delivers high-quality, client-centered care to individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

As a Program Manager, youโ€™ll be both a clinical and administrative leader. Youโ€™ll oversee a passionate team while ensuring program excellence, compliance, and continuous growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership & Supervision:
    Provide clinical supervision, orientation, and ongoing training to program staff. Support professional development and foster a trauma-informed, inclusive team culture.

  • Program Oversight:
    Manage day-to-day operations of adult behavioral health programs. Ensure quality service delivery and documentation practices that align with funding and accreditation standards.

  • Community Collaboration:
    Act as a liaison with community partners, funders, and stakeholders to promote integrated care and sustain key relationships.

  • Compliance & Strategy:
    Navigate the requirements of various funding sources, evaluate program outcomes, and support innovation in service delivery.

Schedule & Travel:

  • Standard Hours: Mondayโ€“Thursday: 8:30 a.m.โ€“7:00 p.m., Friday: 8:30 a.m.โ€“5:00 p.m.

  • Flexibility Required: Occasional evenings and weekends based on client and program needs.

  • Travel: Local travel with mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rate ($0.64/mile).

What Weโ€™re Looking For:

โœ… Education & Licensure:

  • Masterโ€™s degree in a mental health field (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, etc.) โ€“ Required

  • Full Michigan Licensure (LMSW, LPC, LLP) โ€“ Required

โœ… Experience:

  • At least 1 year supervising mental health programs for adults with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders โ€“ Required

  • Background in program development and evaluation โ€“ Required

  • Strong crisis management and clinical decision-making skills
