Job description

Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant / Accounting Specialist to support daily office operations and assist with accounting functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of administrative responsibilities and accounting tasks while working in a flexible, part-time environment. Responsibilities Administrative Duties Answer phones, greet visitors, and manage incoming correspondence. Schedule appointments and maintain office calendars. Organize and maintain files, records, and office documentation. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed. Order office supplies and assist with general office operations. Provide support to leadership and other departments on special projects. Accounting Duties Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Enter invoices, payments, and financial data into accounting software. Reconcile bank and credit card statements. Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports. Prepare customer invoices and monitor outstanding balances. Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Assist with month-end reporting and accounting projects. Qualifications 2+ years of administrative, bookkeeping, or accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar accounting software preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Professional communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
