Rogers Enterprises, Inc. is a growing fine jewelry chain with stores spread through 16 states. Founded in 1910, this family-owned company operates under the names Rogers & Hollands Jewelers and Ashcroft & Oak Jewelers. The Credit Authorizer is responsible for processing credit applications, servicing credit accounts, and managing other aspects of our In-House Credit Card program.

SUMMARY

The Credit Authorizer is responsible for processing credit applications, servicing credit accounts, and managing other aspects of our In-House Credit Card program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • STRONG Data Entry skills required -Data Entry of Credit Applications
  • EXCELLENT Customer Service skills required - Communicate with guests regarding their credit account; display patience and willingness to help
  • STELLAR internal verbal & written communication - your role will include daily interaction with your in-store colleagues
  • FANTASTIC follow-up and completion of duties - you must complete your assigned tasks every day before you sign off
  • Miscellaneous Duties as Assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Detail oriented, high level of accuracy
  • Strong data entry skills - quick and accurate
  • Excellent customer service skills, great attitude & communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proactive & able to work well without supervision
  • Quick Learner
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking is a PLUS

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Strong Typing/Data Entry skills
  • Basic Computer skills - comfortable with technology
  • Basic Excel and Word knowledge - ability to learn new programs

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

SCHEDULE:

  • During training period - in-office schedule of M-F from 9-5
  • Nights, Weekends and Holidays required once remote
  • Flexible Work Schedule - we work hard to try and accommodate your needs

PAY

$15 an hour plus bonus

  • Paid Time Off- 40 hours after 3 months, then 80 hours at 1 year anniversary. Extends to 25 days based upon tenure.
  • Holiday and Bereavement Pay- New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Bereavement pay after 90 days.
  • Discounts- Associate discounts on store purchases available to all associates based upon tenure and level of position.

  • Retirement / 401(k) Plan- Eligible to participate in the company 401(k) if eligibility is met, following one year anniversary. Company match is 40% of the first 5% that the employee contributes to the plan.
