Job Description
Credit Card Associate (Remote Opportunity)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Card Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll manage prepay customer accounts by processing manual credit card payments, maintaining accurate account records, resolving billing issues, and collaborating with both customers and internal teams to ensure timely account resolution.
What You'll Do
As a Credit Card Associate, you will:
  • Review and process credit-held orders throughout the day.
  • Process manual credit card payments while ensuring PCI compliance.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email.
  • Investigate claims and process debit, credit, or denial adjustments as appropriate.
  • Research and resolve internal and external customer account inquiries.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships across assigned territories.
  • Analyze account activity and maintain accurate customer account records.
  • Perform account maintenance, including documentation for write-offs when necessary.
  • Performs daily credit card reporting while utilizing multiple systems.
  • Work with customers to resolve outstanding balances and account discrepancies.
  • Recommend appropriate collection strategies, including payment plans, shipment holds, or other account actions.
  • Escalate complex issues or potential risks to management when appropriate.
  • Stay current on technology, tools, and best practices that improve efficiency and customer service.
  • Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as business needs evolve.
