MSS is a private, non-profit agency established in 1949, providing day and employment supports to people with disabilities throughout the Twin Cities metro area. We are seeking 2 candidates to join our Board of Directors this Fall. Ideal candidates will possess strengths in one or more of the following areas:

  • Human Resources and Talent Recruitment โ€” experience shaping organizational culture, hiring practices, or workforce development.
  • Arts and Creative Community Engagement โ€” involvement in arts organizations, creative industries, or partnerships that support artistic expression.
  • Fundraising, Development, or Grant Writing โ€” familiarity with donor engagement, nonprofit fundraising strategies, or securing grant funding.
  • Legal Expertise โ€” experience in nonprofit law, governance, compliance, contracts, or risk management.
  • Disability or Employment Services Experience โ€” personal or professional insight into disability services, inclusive employment, or advocacy.
