Job description

JOB PURPOSE:

  • Reports to Casino Marketing Director to develop and coordinate content to build audience and engage followers through daily posts across all social media platforms. Serves as the main point of contact for all social media and web presence.
  • Reports to CEO/GM to assist Creative Coordinator with Graphic Arts, Advertising and Branding.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop content to build audience and engage followers through daily posts across all social media platforms for QBRC, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TripAdvisor, and other sites as assigned.
  • Coordinate guest service program by monitoring social media, Tripadvisor, secret shopper reports and guest comments and ensure appropriate responses are made by soliciting departments for feedback. Follow up with departments to ensure guest concerns are addressed with the staff and measures are put into place to correct errors in the future.
  • Monitor community feedback in real-time and respond/engage with the brand's audience 7 days a week. Research and issue accurate and timely responses to guest questions and concerns received via social platforms.
  • Serve as the point of contact for QBRC web pages, in coordination with Creative Coordinator to ensure brand.
  • Establish, maintain and collaborate effective communication and professional relationships with internal departments.
  • Coordinate with other departmental leaders at QBRC to photograph property amenity areas, venues, team members and nightlife for posting to social pages.
  • Publish event photo albums within a timely fashion and maintain a collection of promotional / lifestyle images to use for QBRC.
  • Develop and execute engaging, social media contests that achieve defined marketing goals.
  • Measure social media efforts and deliver actionable insights. Make specific recommendations on how to improve social activity by regularly monitoring and analyzing brand/competitor conversations.
  • Create and present social media progress reports and competitive analysis reports monthly to Marketing and Executive management.
  • Stay current with industry trends in social media advertising and new strategies.
  • Coordinate all art through Creative Coordinator and help maintain integrity of the brand.
  • Assist Creative Coordinator with Digital Art as requested.
  • Assist Marketing with the promotion of and active engagement at QBRC
  • Work nights, weekends and holidays as schedule requires.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Work is performed indoors in a thermostatically-controlled office environment with occasional outdoor work being performed;
  • Exposure to various chemicals used in maintenance of property;
  • Usually works in a moderate to loud noise level environment when on the casino floor
  • Close space while working with others
  • Work is performed in a professional, fast paced, customer service environment
  • Must be able to de-escalate guest service issues and have the ability to act and react in the best interest of QBRC while maintaining a professional decorum.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree in Marketing, Graphic Arts or related field.
  • Three years' experience with social media and/or email marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, superior organizational skills, the ability to problem solve, and above average attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Access, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
  • Demonstrated experience in all areas of social media
  • Read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel.
  • Competent organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
  • Ability to meet deadlines as required.
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate with others in department.
  • Must be detail orientated, creative, artistic, motivated, and willing to work long hours.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Washington State Gaming and Quinault Tribal License (Class III)
