Overview

The Vice President, Creative Data and Analytics will serve as an expert in brand and overall analytics strategy. You will also extend your knowledge on data strategy and storytelling by exploring new opportunities, identifying new solutions, new platforms, etc. In conjunction with data technology and data strategy, the Vice President, Creative Data and Analytics defines and innovates our approach to data/client/strategy problems through improved processes, partnerships, and data integration.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis

 

  • Deep understanding of complex business issues and high-level understanding of technical needs
  • Performs highly complex work activities
  • Contributes to the implementation of policy, strategy & reporting innovation
  • Looks for new ways to drive analytical and strategic excellence
  • Expands our way of thinking - Looks for new ways to approach client/brand/internal problems and needs
  • Brings innovative approaches to process, deliverables and general customer/ client needs
  • Looks for implications outside of agency/ category that drive fresh thinking and inspiration
  • Examines the entire ecosystems for insights.
  • Partners with other capabilities and analytical teams to evolve our way of thinking to grow and identify performance requirements and implement best practices.
  • Stays on top of industry trends and spots what's next
  • Inspires new ways of thinking across DNA and other strategic capabilities

Data Intelligence & Narrative Development

 

  • Extends agency & DNA's knowledge on data strategy/ storytelling by exploring new opportunities, identifying new solutions, new platforms, etc.
  • In conjunction with data technology and data strategy defines and innovates our approach to data/client/strategy problems through improved processes, partnerships & data integration.
  • Owns the overall client relationship in partnership with brand strategy and can present and articulate the brand strategy, engagement strategy and goals of the brand persuasively to strategists, clients and other stakeholders
  • Is seen as an expert in brand and overall analytics strategy
  • Partners with cross-functional disciplines to evolve agency's thinking and approach - using data derived insights to drive business growth, business impact, and to create new opportunities for clients and for the agency
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to cross-functional disciplines, to account leads and for the agency
  • Provides guidance & mentorship to DNA team members to simplify the data story, ensuring it is approachable and actionable
  • Serves as a growth and new business resource across engagements and across agency growth team

 

Project Management

 

  • Develops and deploys new strategies for building a high-performance function in line with our emerging customer & business needs
  • Drives significant impact and improvements across their function; consistently delivers large projects involving one or more teams' contribution on time at a high level of quality
  • Excels at getting the team to focus on the highest impact projects

 

People Management

 

  • Leverages experience and use strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with all other business leaders to define and prioritize the right to work
  • Proactively nurtures the talent of the senior people in their function and provides leadership to them

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of work experience with analytics and optimization platforms
  • 10+ years of business experience in marketing consulting, advertising or interactive
  • Pharmaceutical Agency experience REQUIRED
  • Expertise within the digital environment and in aligning marketing strategies with business needs
  • In-depth knowledge of integrated marketing and CRM disciplines (including primary research, segmentation, targeting, direct marketing and customer care)
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
  • Experience managing and coordinating multiple projects across internal teams
  • Proven leadership record with strong client relationship skills
  • Strong familiarity with the digital environment
  • Four-year degree (with a business focus such as Statistics, Economics, Finance or Marketing)
  • Master's degree (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Adobe Suite Experience a plus
  • Candidate must be open to travel as needed

Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
