Overview

Razorfish is looking for a Senior Creative Analyst to join its Data Science and Analytics practice. This is an analytics, research, and consulting team that delivers data-driven insights to our clients. Each member of the team is aligned to one or more clients and works closely with other Data Science team members, our clients, and colleagues across other disciplines such as: Client Management, Strategy, Creative, Search, Social, Media, User Experience, and Technology.

In this role you will contribute to data-driven projects across a client account. You will have support from data leadership and fellow analysts.

Responsibilities
  • Help provide strategic input and in-depth analysis of creative (strategy, design)  
  • Manage the end-to-end process for data internal and external client project work
  • Demonstrates marketing business acumen and how our data services fit into client strategies and objectives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative team members, media planners, strategists, and activation teams to align on goals, manage timelines, and ensure data accuracy across deliverables
  • Participate in client readouts, defines requirements and implementation of data tools and products

Analytics

  • Reporting and Insight Generation
    • Execute recurring data pulls to support ongoing business needs, creative testing, and campaign optimization
    • Develop, maintain, and QA taxonomies to ensure consistent classification and accurate reporting across creative assets

    • Leverage taxonomy in reporting to deliver actionable insights on creative performance and audience engagement

    • Drive time efficiency by identifying opportunities to streamline creative analysis workflows

    • Implement standardization processes to ensure consistency in creative tagging, measurement, and reporting

    • Create and optimize automation solutions to reduce manual tasks and improve reporting accuracy.

    • Help design and analyze results of attitudinal studies to measure brand lift across key campaigns
    • Consistently demonstrates ability to synthesize implications ("so whats?") from analysis and refine approach
    • Consistently uses insights works across disciplines to generate and develop actionable recommendations to the client

Communication Skills

  • Thoughtful contributor to internal and client discussions, having synthesized input and feedback
  • Help prepare internal and client presentations and necessary outlines
  • Show confidence in meetings offering ideas and suggestions, reflecting mastery of tasks and work
  • Comfortable with occasionally leading team discussions and able to present alternative solutions
  • Create client documents from scratch with little reliance on templates and minimal oversight
  • Use best practices in formatting within presentation tools (PPT, Google Slides, etc.)
  • Transforms data into visually appealing presentations with an emphasis on storytelling, adapting formats and charts as necessary

 

Client Engagement

  • Is the day-to-day internal data resource while becoming a client resource as well
  • Display professional, articulate, and mature presence in all aspects of client relationship building
  • Question and reflect deep knowledge of client's business - financials, industry economics, competitive dynamics, marketing channels, and client strategic issues

Tools & Techniques

  • Proficiency in Excel and Tableau
  • Experience building and working within BI/Visualizations tools (Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint)
  • QA and maintains data integrity at collection, extraction, and activation point
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Excel and Tableau
  • 2-4 years of experience in analytics or strategy with an advertising agency, management consulting company, or ad tech company
  • A tenacity to solve problems, find solutions and seek out the unknown

Compensation Range: $72,000- $109,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
