Description:
Position Purpose:
Saint Alphonsus Health System is hiring for our Revenue Management team to support our Idaho and Oregon patients. This position will be fully remote; work hours are based on Mountain Standard Time.
This is a phone-based position, providing patient-focused customer service.
What are we looking for? Our ideal candidate has:
- Prior authorization experience in surgeries or radiology
- Experience with Idaho/Oregon insurance verification
- Experience with EPIC software
Position Highlights and Benefits:
  • Schedule Information: Position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week.
    MOUNTAIN STANDARD TIME: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5pm
  • Position is remote (work from home)
  • Benefits are in place your first day of work.
  • Daily Pay available.

What You Will Do:
  • Provide patient focused customer service.
  • Performs outpatient & / or inpatient registration
  • Performs insurance verification functions.
  • Will initiate and secure authorization for scheduled services
  • Provides general information to hospital users, patients, families & physician offices.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of hospital registration or insurance verification experience required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic coding & procedural coding required.

Preferred Qualifications/Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of insurance verification, ability to explain benefits, and secure necessary authorizations.
  • Experience with Epic software.
  • National certification in HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one (1) year of hire.
