Familiarity with electronic health records, facility management software, and compliance tracking systems is typical in this role. Their work typically involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams—such as physicians, nurses, regulatory specialists, and data managers—to ensure studies are conducted ethically and efficiently. Day-to-day tasks may include patient recruitment, data collection, and monitoring study protocols. This environment fosters learning and career growth, as team members are exposed to cutting-edge research and have opportunities to advance into roles such as project management or regulatory affairs.

What are CRCFs (Community Residential Care Facilities)?

Community Residential Care Facilities (CRCFs) are licensed facilities that provide room, board, and personal care services to adults who need assistance with daily living but do not require skilled medical care. CRCFs offer services such as meal preparation, medication management, and help with personal hygiene in a supervised, home-like environment. These facilities are often used by seniors or adults with disabilities who require support but wish to maintain some independence. CRCFs are regulated by state agencies to ensure safety and quality of care for their residents.
