We are looking for the self-driven, the bold, the passionate Systems Engineers who will join KBR on an exciting journey of professional thrill and personal growth as the Team pursues and steps up to strategic Customer Enterprise-level challenges! Key Responsibilities: * Assist in the development of systems engineering courses to enable an Enterprise more prepared for systems engineering modernization.
* Apprentice to a professional Instructional Systems Designer to develop courses and enable their deployment.
* As appropriate, courses may start as instructor led, become a Video Based Training, and later become Web Based Training and/or a workshop - or be considered complete at some step along this process.
* Under supervision, deliver foundational digital engineering (DE) approaches that ensure the engineering and MS&A processes are met.
* Assist technical teams and leadership in the implementation of MBSE methods and techniques.
* Assist in developing and supporting enterprise level digital engineering approaches, ensuring that models, data, and information are accessible, interconnected, and structured to support organizational goals.
* Ensure that systems engineering and MS&A processes covered in the SOW requirements are followed.
* Support the federated modeling approach across the enterprise and mission partners.
* Adhere to the MBSE modeling methodology guidelines and principles established by the team.
* Ability to communicate modeling concepts and best practices to stakeholders at varying levels. Basic Compensation: $82,000 - $102,000 USD annually The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. * Working Hours: Standard Required Qualifications: * Must possess a current/active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
* Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 0 years of experience.
* Foundational understanding of systems engineering principles and familiarity with Digital Engineering (DE)/Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
* Basic understanding of data concepts and technologies such as relational databases, ontology, Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) or Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and stakeholders. Desired Qualifications: * Masters degree in Systems Engineering or relative field.
* Exposure to MBSE tools or coursework (e.g., SysML) is desired
* General awareness of digital industry trends such as Cloud/IaC, Data Analytics, DevSecOps, AWS and/or Azure, Containerization/micro-services
* Basic knowledge or academic exposure to satellite or space-based technologies
* Familiarity with Operations Research/Systems Analysis concepts
* Introductory knowledge of Digital Thread or Digital Twin concepts
