Ideal Candidate: is available for early morning shifts, has previous cash handling experience, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and is able to safely lift 50+ lbs.
Shift Type: Early mornings
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
The aforementioned Summary and the following Essential Duties and Responsibilities will be discussed and demonstrated during The Brook's Count Team Member Training Process.
  • The Count Team Member reports to the Count Team Lead and Count Team Manager
  • Must be able to communicate in a friendly, polite, and professional manner with guests and other team members
  • Requires dependable and punctual attendance and flexibility with scheduled shifts.
  • Requires working weekends, holidays, special events and attending mandatory meetings Responsible for counting and balancing all currency/coins received from various live games, slot bill validators and Kiosks
  • Assist Supervisor with sorts, counts, and records contents of table game drop boxes, kiosks and
    currency drop boxes, according to set procedures
  • Maintains a thorough, working knowledge of laws, rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, as well as company policies, procedures and controls
  • Oversees and records drop collection process and counting money
  • Maintains all records, reports and other required paperwork related to the Soft Count Department.
  • Responsible for the transportation of departmental wheeled carts to and from secured locations
  • Performs related work as required or assigned
  • All other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and occasionally move and/or lift up to 100 pounds assisted and move wheeled carts weighting up to 600 pounds.
The employee is regularly required to sit or stand for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in the back of house of the casino, which ranges from moderate to loud. Counting occurs in an isolated area away from the casino floor.
Fast-paced environment while adhering to strict guidelines and controls.
The casino floor environment is loud and will subject Employee to tobacco smoke.
Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Employees must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
Count team shifts typically begin in the early morning hours.
