Job description

Purpose of Position:
Assist in safeguarding all Count-Room-managed assets. Assist Count Room Supervisor in completing daily drop and count as well as overseeing Count Room Specialists in the absence of the Count Room Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Assist in training Count Room Specialists on departmental policies and procedures. Assist in training Count Room Specialists on departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assist Count Room Supervisor in assigning Count Room Specialists daily duties and ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Oversee and assist Count Room Specialists in the removal of stacker boxes from slot machines and transport to the Count Room.
  • Run coin and currency counter to document and transfer deposit data of each Table Game and slot machine into online computer system.
  • Run reports necessary to audit and balance daily paperwork.
  • Batch and upload drop data in online computer system.
  • Work with Revenue Audit to make corrections to drop paperwork.
  • Document and record adjustments made to correct errors in processing.
  • Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of currency counting machines.
  • Distribute reports to appropriate departments.
  • Prepare and submit daily shift reports to Count Room Manager and Director of Accounting Processes.
  • Adhere to and assist Count Room Supervisor in ensuring Tribal Minimal Internal Controls Standards, Casino Wide and the Departmental policies and procedures are followed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, unless otherwise waived by Human Resources Management.
  • Requires one (1) year Count Room experience.
  • Requires the ability to operate large machinery and equipment.

Must be able to work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
