JOB SUMMARY

The Count Room Manager is responsible for ensuring the slot drop is completed and count of the slot drop is accurate and completed each day.  Candidate is also responsible for ensuring that drop and count of the table games is accurate and completed each day. 

Candidate will be responsible for the conduct of all Drop/Count Team members and the tasks assigned to the Drop/Count Team.  The Count Room Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Drop/Count Team members adhere to the company policies and procedures as well as following the PGCB regulations and standard operating procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned.

  • Candidate is responsible for all duties required to ensure the replenishment, service and drop and count of all gaming voucher redemption units throughout the property. 
  • Candidate is responsible for all duties required to ensure drop and count of the lottery machine’s funds.
  • Candidate may assist with placement and service on self-bet race machines.
  • Candidate is responsible for all duties required to ensure drop and count of the self-bet race betting machines’ funds.
  • Candidate is responsible for all duties required to ensure the drop and count of all slot machine revenue throughout the property. 
  • Candidate is responsible for all duties required to ensure the drop and count of all table games revenue throughout the property. 
  • Candidate is responsible for ensuring that the Drop/Count Team is in compliance with all count and drop state regulations and internal controls.
  • Candidate will be responsible for charting attendance, issuing corrective actions, and approval of weekly schedules and vacations. 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Count Room Manager is responsible for any disciplinary action, reports and the hiring and firing of Drop/Count Team personnel.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

MATH ABILITY

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must possess intermediate PC skills.  Microsoft Office experience required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent.  Minimum of three years’ supervisory or management experience with money handling is preferred. 

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES

Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
