Job description

The Kiski School, a co-educational boarding and day school in Saltsburg, PA, is seeking a skilled Office Coordinator to support the Office of College Counseling (CCO).
The CCO Coordinator is the first point of contact with students, families, and admission representatives, and plays a critical role in supporting the work of the two full-time college counselors.
The ideal candidate will bring a sense of humor, warmth, and enthusiasm for working with students as well as excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Duties and responsibilities include:
โ€ข Assist the Counselors in managing the college application process for Kiski students
โ€ข Schedule/manage college rep visits and manage office calendars and CCO bulletin boards
โ€ข Manage correspondence and communications for the College Counseling office
โ€ข Maintain student records and data in the college application process, including transcripts, test scores, and application materials
โ€ข Organize and send bi-weekly parent electronic newsletters
โ€ข Assist with aspects of on-campus testing, including proctoring SAT tests throughout the year
โ€ข Assist in preparing reports and presentations for the Counselors
โ€ข Collaborate with other school departments as needed
โ€ข Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Director
โ€ข This is an in-person position that will require occasional weekend/evening work
The ideal candidate for the position will possess the following qualities and qualifications:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree preferred
โ€ข Previous experience in an administrative or executive assistant role preferred
โ€ข Strong organizational abilities: time-management, planning, and prioritization skills
โ€ข Excellent written and verbal communication skills
โ€ข Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Google Forms, Social Media platforms. Familiarity with Scoir and Blackbaud is a plus.
โ€ข Ability to work independently and in a team environment
โ€ข Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
