Position Summary:

This position provides essential secretarial and receptionist support to ensure the smooth operation of a designated River Valley Counseling Center site. Responsibilities include managing client records, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, handling phone calls, and maintaining a professional front office environment. The role also requires confidentiality, strong communication skills, and the ability to support staff, clients, and administrative functions efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide secretarial and clerical support for the effective operation of the assigned site location.
  • To coordinate and schedule appointments or meetings, as requested, for the professional staff.
  • To organize and maintain accurate files and records and to retrieve files as necessary
  • To answer phone calls promptly and courteously and to take and communicate message accurately

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school graduate, with emphasis on secretarial sciences
  • Minimum six months experience in a computerized office environment; computer literacy required.

Preferred:

  • Bilingual language capabilities a plus
