As a Security Officer Corporate Insurance in Wilton, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a leading financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, support access awareness, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this visible role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and driven by integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout offices, lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to confirm that entry procedures, identification requirements, and/or escort protocols are followed according to location guidelines.
  • Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with directional inquiries, and/or maintaining awareness of conditions that may require a security-related response.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
