About this Role

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager to manage the day-to-day execution of internal and external communication strategy. This senior, people-leadership role works closely with cross-functional leadership and a team of individual contributors to develop and implement comprehensive communication solutions that support business objectives.

What You'll Do

Strategy & Leadership

  • Partner with the VP of Communications to develop and execute comprehensive internal and external communications strategies aligned with Quanta Power Solutions' business objective.
  • Support the following department goals: ensure employees feel informed and connected to the company, regardless of location.
  • Grow, protect, and leverage the brand in ways that secure confidence among Quanta companies and other key stakeholders, including customers and communities.
  • Serve as the day-to-day authority for driving communications execution forward. Lead, manage, and develop a team of individual contributors dedicated to building and implementing both internal and external strategies.
  • Support the growth, development, and success of each team member.
  • As the department scales, establish guidelines, standards, and repeatable processes to ensure the long-term transferability and consistency of work.

Functional ownership

  • Manage Media Relations, including proactive B2B outreach, reactive response, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Develop a Crisis Communication Strategy in partnership with leadership, defining protocols, spokespeople, and response playbooks for use in the unlikely event of an emergency.
What You'll Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • 6-10+ years of progressive communications experience, including 2+ years of success leading a team.
  • Proven experience in growing and scaling strategy across multiple media channels.
  • Portfolio of work required that demonstrates success growing and scaling both internal and external business objectives using communication strategies.
  • Experience serving multiple clients and perspectives.
  • Demonstrated experience as a seasoned spokesperson working with media.

Technical and Leadership Skills

  • Track record of building communication strategies and scalable processes.
  • Exceptional writing skills in AP style.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva; working knowledge of web and video.
  • Understanding of AI and ability to leverage technology for efficiency and idea generation.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to both see and set big-picture strategy while establishing detailed processes.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet firm, non-negotiable deadlines.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, maintaining a steady presence when challenges arise.
  • Demonstrated understanding of people and ability to pivot messages real-time for multiple stakeholders.
