Job Summary

At Sprouts Cooking School, we are committed to providing the highest quality childrenโ€™s cooking classes that enrich and inspire children and their families. Our ideal candidate is dedicated to helping execute a smooth and fun learning experience for all students. Culinary teachers demonstrate a passion for children and their culinary education. Teachers work to promote confidence in the kitchen, creativity, and a lifetime love of cooking. This position requires the staff member to be self-motivated, organized, and responsive to direction. This position reports to the manager.

Responsibilities:

โ€ข Creates a welcoming, comfortable, and exciting environment for all students and parents

โ€ข Prepares and organizes ingredients for class

โ€ข Maintains a clean and organized work environment

โ€ข Executes classroom setup and breakdown

โ€ข Ensures class begins and ends on time with all recipes completed

โ€ข Leads and maintains the flow of class by following the teaching rubric

โ€ข Monitors all students to ensure safety rules and expectations are being executed

โ€ข Controls the classroom with superior management skills

โ€ข Remains up to date on all product knowledge, recipes, and trainings

โ€ข Follows Sprouts standard operating procedures and policies

โ€ข Follows directions given by store manager or general manager
