Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking passionate adjunct instructors to help prepare the next generation of professionals and leaders. As an adjunct, you will provide engaging, high-quality instruction while supporting student success in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
The Colangelo College of Business is a Christian business school for servant leaders and innovation based upon ethics, purpose and stakeholder integration to help communities prosper and flourish.
Foundational Culinary Skills: This course provides students with the essential knowledge and practical techniques required for professional food service operations. The course integrates food safety protocols, fundamental cooking methods, and food science principles to establish a solid foundation for careers in culinary arts and food service. Students develop proficiency in knife skills, stock and sauce preparation, soup making, and basic menu planning while preparing for the industry-standard ServSafe Manager certification. The course emphasizes hands-on learning in a professional kitchen environment, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application to prepare students for advanced culinary coursework and entry-level positions in the food service industry.
