Chief Operating Officer (COO)

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who will drive how work gets done across the organization—bringing together people, process, and technology to create efficient, scalable, and customer-centered operations.

What You’ll Do

As COO, you’ll lead the bank’s operational strategy and execution—ensuring we deliver a seamless, high-quality experience across all channels.

Operational Leadership

  • Lead key functions including Customer Support, e-Services, loan operations, payments (ACH/wires), and core systems
  • Ensure operational processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with strategic goals
  • Build strong structure, accountability, and performance across teams

Process Improvement & Transformation

  • Identify inefficiencies and streamline workflows across the bank
  • Drive automation and reduce manual processes
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve how work flows end-to-end

Digital & Technology Strategy

  • Champion digital transformation, automation, and innovation
  • Partner with IT to optimize systems, platforms, and tools
  • Evaluate fintech partnerships and implement forward-thinking solutions

Customer Experience

  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across all operational and digital touchpoints
  • Align internal processes to support a seamless customer journey

Data & Performance

  • Establish and monitor key operational metrics (turnaround times, error rates, service levels)
  • Use data to drive decisions, improvements, and accountability

Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure strong operational compliance and risk management practices
  • Oversee the BSA/AML function and maintain a strong control environment

Leadership & Culture

  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in banking or financial services
  • Strong background in operations, systems, and process improvement
  • Proven success leading digital transformation or large-scale change
  • Deep understanding of banking operations, risk, and regulatory environment
  • Ability to think strategically and execute effectively
