Job description

UnifyCX is growing and we are looking for an experienced Global Controller to join our motivated and ambitious team.
What Will You Do?
As the Global Controller, you will represent UnifyCX in building trustworthy, long-term partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. This role will oversee financial reporting across multiple-geographies to ensure accurate, timely reporting and compliance with all applicable reporting requirements.
As the Global Controller, you will:
  • Oversee global month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities and jurisdictions to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable financial controls and operational processes to support continued international growth
  • Drive standardization of accounting policies and procedures across global entities
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, banking partners, and regulatory agencies
  • Enhance ERP systems, reporting tools, and financial workflows to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance team members across multiple geographies
  • Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of accounting records, policies, and internal procedures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, legal, operations, and business leadership on strategic and operational initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and data analytics to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

The perfect candidate will have broad experience in accounting/finance with priority given to those that have significant experience in tax planning (corporate, personal, transfer pricing, etc.)
To be considered, candidates are expected to have the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years combined experience accounting and financial reporting in a global, multi-company environment
  • Strong working experience with GAAP and technical accounting principles, laws, and regulations; ability to quickly learn and adapt to new regulations
  • Must have strong analytical skills, and the ability to work well within team concept with minimal supervision or direction
  • Excellent communication skills required (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to influence all levels in the organization which includes financial and non-financial business partners
  • Must be detail-oriented, analytical, conscientious and industrious, with the ability to handle changing priorities and tight time frames
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Extensive project management experience
  • Proven ability to maintain confidential information
  • CFP® or CPA

Preferred Skills/Qualifications
  • Experience in public accounting
  • ERP/systems (Acumatica, Oracle, Zip, etc)
