What is an assistant group controller?

An Assistant Group Controller is a finance professional who supports the Group Controller in managing a company's financial operations across multiple business units or subsidiaries. Their responsibilities typically include assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, consolidation of accounts, compliance, and internal controls. They help ensure that financial statements are accurate and that the company follows regulatory standards.
