Job description

Large manufacturing plant in East TN has immediate opening for a Plant Controller. The Controller is part of the plant leadership team. Responsible for Financial reporting at plant and divisional levels. The Plant Controller will have two direct reports.

Qualified candidates will have at least 10 years experience in manufacturing accounting roles, along with 3 years experience as Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager. Must have BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar. Strong skills in Excel required.

The Plant Controller will prepare the P&L statement, do the financial analysis, reconcile the general ledger, and communicate the information to plant leadership. This is a highly visible role.

Open to considering candidates in Assistant Controller roles (or similar) ready to move into a full Controller position.

This facility is part of a global corporation. The Controller will interact with other plant locations.
