A Controller is needed for a distribution company on a direct hire basis who will oversee the financial and accounting operations. The Controller will be responsible for managing all accounting functions, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including supervising accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting staff.
  • Responsible for general ledger, closing periods, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor internal controls and implement process improvements.
  • Coordinate and manage year-end audits with external auditors.
  • Provide financial reporting and analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with business operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
