Overview:

The Bonadio Group is seeking a Controller to work with the Outsource Accounting and Finance team. This position provides delivery of accounting and bookkeeping services for multiple clients in a variety of industries. If you are working in public accounting or in industry and want to see more exciting projects with a mix of clients, diversity of work, with a flexible schedule, then this job may be right for you!

Responsibilities:

Performing accounting services for clients inclusive of:

  • Preparation of complex Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other management reports
  • Assist with establishing and maintaining standardize accounting procedures and processes
  • Produce all relevant financial statement reports on monthly and annual basis
  • Perform general accounting duties as needed, such as accounts payable functions, account reconciliations and work paper preparation
  • Assist with onboarding new clients
  • Provide training for new clients and staff in the use of shared software applications
  • Prior accounting experience and ability to apply that experience to a wide range of client situations
  • Ability to motivate and manage staff in a pay-for-performance environment
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines/time management
  • Ability to manage unexpected and sometimes urgent firm or client matters as they arise
  • Expertise using a range of technology solutions (software, peripherals, etc.)
  • Project management skills
  • Achieve consistent and outstanding client satisfaction

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline
  • A minimum of four years of related experience
  • Team leadership experience

The salary range for the role is $80,000 to $105,000 per year.

Hours of Operation:

  • Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with Flex Friday scheduling available in accordance with firm policy and business needs
  • We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however, the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times
