Position Summary
The Vice President of Finance (VP) will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and partner closely with the Board of Directors to help shape and scale the IFAS platform. This is a high-impact leadership role for a finance executive who brings both strategic perspective and operational discipline.

The successful candidate will lead financial planning, reporting, cash management, and performance analysis while supporting continued growth through acquisitions and integration.

The VP will also have oversight of the Controller position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the production of finance and accounting processes aligned with GAAP and healthcare industry standards.
  • Forecast and manage cash flow to support growth and day-to-day operational needs.
  • Report financial and associated matters to the board with insight and suggestion.
  • Manage treasury operations and maintain strong relationships with banking, lending, and vendor partners.
  • Generate reporting tools and dashboards as needed that enable informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Engage with the revenue cycle management team for accounts receivable and other collections trends.
  • Build trust and credibility across the organization through strong financial leadership and business partnership, including with our doctors and their compensation reports.
  • Oversee payroll processes and partner with HR on the financial components of workforce planning and administration.
  • Support the negotiation, organization, and monitoring of key contractual agreements.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions through financial due diligence, add-on modeling, and post-close integration activities.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including operational finance, healthcare accounting, FP&A, cash management, and financial reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • CPA designation or deep expertise in GAAP-based accounting strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading finance in a similarly sized, high-growth, private equity-backed physician practice management or healthcare services organization.
  • A strong track record of assessing challenges, issuing data-based recommendations, and successfully overseeing execution of change when needed.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations and the financial drivers of a provider-based organization.
  • Proven strength in cross-functional collaboration and people management.

  • Highly competent with financial statements for healthcare operations
  • Able to communicate effectively with the board and senior management, including actionable suggestions, while also managing questions and completing follow-up.
  • Able to translate data into action when interacting with the staff members and medical team.
  • Technologically proficient, with daily working knowledge of financial systems, Excel, and related business tools including QuickBooks and similar software.
  • Able to effectively collaborate with the operations, revenue cycle, and human resources teams for best outcomes for all departments.
