Join a dynamic Contracts team that supports the delivery of mission critical capabilities to the Department of War, specifically our portfolio of Artillery Systems. The Contracts organization is the trusted business partner managing customer relationships, negotiating deals, creating innovative solutions, and providing regulatory knowledge. The successful candidate shall be accountable for leading a team of Contracts professionals in the preparation, negotiation, and management of complex proposals and/or contract activities in accordance with company policies, legal regulations, and customer requirements with limited guidance or supervision from Contracts leadership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, mentor, and develop the Contracts organization.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, priorities, and performance expectations for contracts personnel.
  • Build team capability through coaching, training, succession planning, and professional development.
  • Manage the full life cycle of contract administration, from solicitation to closeout.
  • Develop productive relationships with customer contracting officers, contract specialists, legal representatives, program offices, and other authorized customer personnel.
  • Partner with program management to integrate contractual requirements into program execution.
  • Participate in program reviews, risk reviews, proposal reviews, and executive business reviews.
  • Ensure all company policies, processes, and internal controls are followed.
  • Ensure contractual commitments are reviewed and approved by appropriately authorized personnel before execution.

  • Bachelor's Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience
