Responsibilities
A Non-IT recruiter must shoulder several responsibilities when hiring in the non-IT sector/BPO. The primary role of a non-IT recruiter is to put forth an employee value proposition and attract, screen, interview and onboard talent in the non-IT sector.
Job Description"
  • Handle hires in customer retention space and finding new candidates that closely match their needs.
  • Understand non-technical resource requirements proactively.
  • Screen resumes and job applications.
  • Conduct initial phone interviews to shortlist qualified candidates.
  • Post job descriptions, as per the requirements, on social media, career websites and other job portals.
  • Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire.
  • Strategizing the process of recruitment to attract only the right candidates for a given position.
  • Promoting company as a great place to work and substantiating that with workplace fitness and culture.
  • Proficient in use of social media for the task of non-IT recruitment
  • Host and participate in job fairs and follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Works well in a team and is able to both articulate and solve recruitment challenges most of the time

Skills and Qualification:
  • Proven experience as a Non-technical Recruitment Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of non-technical job functions and requirements.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • High School, or a related field.
