Job Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. Manager is looking for Medsurg skilled RNs for this MS/Onc unit.

Required Skills / Certs / Exp: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 year Traveler Experience: Will accept 1st time travelers. Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Experience in an inpatient setting is required, Med/Surg, Colostomy care, Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Heparin, Insulin, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac Certs: TRAVELER MUST HAVE ONC CERT! Traveler must be able to administer chemo if needed. BLS

Job Details: Primarily Medical Surgical patients with Oncology history Target Ratios: 1:6 Shift: NIGHTS 13-26 weeks accepted Call Requirement: Call required if called off on a prescheduled shift. Float Requirement: Floating required to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding, such as inpatient holding in the ED, or any alternate medical patient care location. Weekend Requirement: EVERY OTHER WEEKEND REQUIRED. Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed Patient Diagnoses: General medical-surgical diagnosis primary patient population. Administration of chemotherapy/biotherapy -IV, PO, or injection. AKI, Sepsis, Cancer, Septic shock, Pain, OD, Malignant Neoplasms, ARF, Encephalopathy, FTT, Diabetic foot ulcers, Heparin drips

Special Procedures / Unit Details: Daily Census 42. During times of increased census, typical ratios may be higher.
