As a Contract Psychometrist, your typical day often involves administering cognitive, neuropsychological, or academic assessments to clients under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. You will be responsible for preparing testing materials, conducting standardized tests, scoring results, and providing thorough documentation of your observations. Much of your work is independent, but you also collaborate closely with psychologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and ethical assessments. Depending on your contract, you may travel to different testing sites or work with a range of patient populations, making the role both dynamic and client-focused.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a contract psychometrist?

To thrive as a Contract Psychometrist, you need a solid background in psychology, experience with standardized test administration, and a relevant undergraduate degree such as psychology or a related field.
