Location: UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion - Aurora, CO
Department: Neurosurgery
Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $24.11 - $36.17 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Summary:
Administers psychological and neuropsychological tests to aid healthcare providers with diagnosing and treating patient conditions.
Responsibilities:
Administers and scores prescribed psychological testing, including cognitive, academic, neuropsychological, behavioral, personality, and emotional testing.
Observes, manages, and documents patient's behavior and condition throughout the testing process.
Enters testing/patient conditions and test results into patient records. Communicates results to patient's healthcare team.
May perform and/or assist with research. May perform scheduling, insurance verification, coding, billing, and reimbursement/collection activities.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field. Preferred: Master's degree in Psychology or Clinical Social Work.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: None Required. Preferred: Certified as a Specialist in Psychometry (CSP) by The Board of Certified Psychometrists (BCP), and/or state licensure as a Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Counselor.
