As a remote mental health counselor in Lancaster, California, you will work within a dynamic outpatient setting that emphasizes flexibility and accessibility. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that client documentation is thorough, accurate, and compliant with all licensing standards and regulations, using electronic health record systems as necessary.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will involve working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your expertise will be critical in guiding clients through their treatment journey, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to their unique circumstances. You will play a vital role in helping clients improve their mental health, enhance their coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Must possess a current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in the mental health field, demonstrating direct client care.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, for documentation and reporting purposes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple clients and cases simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and crisis intervention strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
