As a Service Technician, you are a key team member supporting the work of field operations. Your efforts contribute to the day-to-day contract operations of Rainbow Restoration. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and fellow team members. If you are self-motivated, self-directed, and enthusiastic. Specific Responsibilities: 

  • Driving company vehicles with trailers
  • Ability to read and understand maps & directions
  • Work with a team
  • Communicate with customers about scope of work and review necessary paperwork
  • Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner
  • Meet deadlines
  • Possess or have the ability and willingness to learn and participate in performing:
  • Water restoration 
  • Mold remediation 
  • Trauma scene cleaning
  • Smoke & fire damage restoration
  • Carpet & upholstery cleaning
  • Content cleaning
  • Lead remediation
  • Boardup & tarp over services
  • Property maintenance
  • Construction projects
  • Respond to jobs and initiate work in accordance with IICRC standards and Rainbow Restoration's internal processes
  • Maintain company assets (equipment, vehicles, etc.) keeping them clean, properly maintained and fully stocked to be available at all times
  • Perform marketing tasks to sell additional services or develop additional business as required
  • Perform other duties as required. These duties may include job functions that are outside the scope of normal job duties

Job Requirements:

  • We are a 24-hour emergency service company, and all team members are required to be on-call and respond when needed
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Professional appearance and personality
  • Team player who can work independently
  • Smart phone and tablet computer literate, with working knowledge of work processing, business software applications
  • Computer literate with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook) and other computer software
  • Ability to learn new computer software
  • Experience in Xactware software would be helpful, but not mandatory
  • Restoration and construction experience helpful, but not required
  • Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Willing to train supporting team members (stewardship)
  • Career minded mentality planning for future positions/ownership, not just looking for a job for today.
