Job description

LHH is partnering with a growing litigation team in Jacksonville seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal. This role offers the opportunity to support attorneys on complex matters involving contract disputes, business torts, shareholder issues, construction litigation, and other commercial disputes.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in managing cases through all phases of litigation.
Responsibilities
  • Support attorneys across all stages of commercial and business litigation matters
  • Prepare and file pleadings, motions, notices, subpoenas, and discovery materials
  • Manage large document productions and coordinate e-discovery efforts
  • Assist with fact investigations, legal research, and case strategy development
  • Prepare deposition summaries, timelines, and trial notebooks
  • Coordinate hearings, mediations, depositions, arbitrations, and trial logistics
  • Maintain case files and litigation databases
  • Track court deadlines and manage litigation calendars
  • Review and organize business records, contracts, financial documents, and corporate records
  • Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness files, and courtroom support
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of commercial or business litigation paralegal experience required
  • Experience handling complex business disputes and contract litigation
  • Strong knowledge of Florida state and federal court procedures
  • Experience with electronic filing in both state and federal courts
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and litigation support software
  • Paralegal certificate preferred but not required
