The Role
We are seeking a Full-Time Litigation Paralegal to support our Tennessee caseload.
A minimum of 8 years of litigation experience in personal injury is required.
This role also requires litigation experience in at least one additional state: Texas, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Arizona, or California. A Tennessee-only background does not meet the bar for this posting.
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
  • Drafting Complaints and Initial Discovery
  • PERSONAL INJURY 8+ years experience
  • Forwarding Complaints to process servers and monitoring service of process
  • Drafting Discovery Responses
  • Calendaring and Noticing Depositions and Leaves of Absence
  • Drafting and Filing Standard Motions and Motion Responses
  • Calendaring litigation timelines
  • Conducting status update calls with clients
  • Client update calls
  • Sending out and following up on non-party discovery requests
  • Assist in trial preparation
  • Verified litigation experience in Tennessee plus additional states.
  • Familiarity with Tennessee Circuit and Chancery Court procedures and e-filing.
