  • $55-$60/hour (C2C or 1099), based on experience
  • Standard U.S. business hours (EST/CST/MST/PST)

About the Role

We’re looking for a strong, innovative Instructional Designer to support a high-visibility Oracle Cloud ERP implementation, with a primary focus on reporting and select finance modules. This is a hands-on design and development role for someone who can build interactive, modern, and genuinely engaging learning — not just click-through compliance content. The ideal candidate is a quick study who works well with a collaborative team, knows how to bring fresh ideas to the table, and also knows when to go with the flow and execute. You’ll partner with SMEs, business leads, and project stakeholders to translate complex ERP workflows into clear, role-based training that drives end-user adoption.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop training for Oracle Cloud ERP, with a primary emphasis on reporting and finance modules.

  • Build a mix of eLearning, ILT, vILT, video-based learning, and on-demand resources to support end-user adoption.

  • Create program outlines, course structures, scripts, and storyboards that align with real business workflows.

  • Develop interactive eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline and Rise, leveraging modern techniques (including generative AI tools where appropriate) to improve interactivity, engagement, and production quality.

  • Partner closely with stakeholders, SMEs, project managers, and IT to ensure training content reflects business requirements and system behavior.

  • Manage training timelines, dependencies, and content reviews to keep deliverables on track.

  • Produce supporting assets including job aids, quick reference guides, process documentation, scenario-based simulations, and knowledge assessments.

  • Help drive a smooth ERP rollout with business-critical training programs that are impactful and interesting.

What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of instructional design experience, with a focus on ERP, SAP, or other enterprise software training.

  • Advanced proficiency in Articulate Storyline and Rise.

  • Demonstrated experience designing training for reporting and/or finance workflows.

  • Strong video and multimedia chops — comfortable producing training clips, tool simulations from screencasts, and polished audio (Camtasia, Vyond, Descript, or similar).

  • Working knowledge of generative AI tools for text, audio, and visuals as accelerators in the design workflow.

  • Self-directed and a quick study; able to ramp fast on new systems, SMEs, and content.
