As our Executive Assistant, you will be an indispensable strategic partner, providing high-level administrative leadership and support to empower executive effectiveness.

Every day, you will expertly oversee daily administrative operations for executives, acting as a primary point of contact and independently managing routine matters. You'll represent executives, manage schedules, coordinate communications, and prepare sensitive documents, drawing on comprehensive organizational knowledge to make confident decisions.

To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional organizational skills, discretion, superior communication skills, and advanced technical proficiency.

The Executive Assistant/Contracts Coordinator performs a wide variety of responsible, complex, and confidential administrative and secretarial duties for the assigned executive(s). This position is also responsible for overseeing and coordinating the management and renewal of all hospital/physician and patient services or patient support services contracts, while providing additional support to the Administrative Team when requested. The assistant performs duties that require considerable confidentiality, initiative, tact, maturity, and independent judgment. This position requires excellent communication and strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to provide information and service to a wide range of internal and external contacts. This role requires knowledge of corporate, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures; requires knowledge of CMS CoP, Title 22 and other regulatory requirements. The Executive Assistant/Contracts Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the assigned executive(s). The Executive Assistant/Contracts Coordinator establishes priorities in all work and assures that assigned tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner while following Mercy Medical Center's Standards of Performance. The Executive Assistant/Contracts Specialist needs to be able to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/patient service and response. This position is classified as confidential and the incumbent must be flexible with schedule. Other duties may be assigned as needed.


Required

  • High School Graduate and a minimum of two years of customer service experience

Preferred

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • Recent clerical experience within the last five years

  • Project Management experience
  • Five years in healthcare-related clerical support experience
