Job Summary

The ERP Project Manager supports the planning and execution of enterprise resource planning (ERP) initiatives across the system. This role is ideal for professionals with strong administrative or executive support experience who are ready to transition into project management. Leveraging exceptional organizational, communication, and coordination skills, the Project Manager will help drive complex projects impacting Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, and related administrative functions.
*Preferred consideration will be given to current employees of TBR Colleges and System Office*

Job Duties

  • 10% - Lead Support and progressively lead ERP implementation and enhancement projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of activities Assist with testing coordination, and process documentation efforts Support change management activities, including communications, training logistics, and user adoption tracking - (Essential)
  • 70% - Management Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, meeting schedules, and documentation Coordinate cross-functional teams across Finance, HR, IT, and other administrative units Facilitate communication between stakeholders, functional teams, and vendors - (Essential)
  • 15% - Organization Organize and support governance activities, including steering committees, executive updates, and project reporting Track project milestones, risks, issues, and action items, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution Maintain organized project records, decisions, and documentation for audit and compliance purposes - (Essential)
  • 4% - Reporting May prepare institutional, Federal, State, and TBR required reporting, as well as ad hoc reports May prepare quarterly reports for the Tennessee Board of Regents on progress of project(s) - (Essential)

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
5-7+ years of professional experience, including administrative, executive assistant, or project coordination roles
Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders, complex initiatives, or cross-functional teams
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
*Preferred consideration will be given to current employees of TBR Colleges and System Office*

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to project management practices, tools, or methodologies (formal certification not required)
Experience working with ERP systems such as Banner, Oracle, or similar platforms
Experience in higher education, government, or other complex organizations
