JOB SUMMARY:
The ERP Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing Module X Solutions' Sage 100 ERP environment. This position partners closely with the ERP Manager and business stakeholders to improve system performance, streamline business processes, support end users, and ensure data integrity across Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Inventory, and Project Management functions.
The ERP Analyst serves as a key resource for ERP administration, reporting, troubleshooting, process improvement, system enhancements, and user support. The ideal candidate possesses strong Sage 100 functional expertise, a solid understanding of manufacturing and accounting processes, and the ability to translate business needs into effective system solutions.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Administer, support, and maintain the Sage 100 ERP environment.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Sage 100 modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Job Cost, Bill of Materials, and Manufacturing.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and operational improvement.
  • Gather business requirements and recommend ERP solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot functional and system issues and coordinate resolution with internal users and external vendors as needed.
  • Support ERP upgrades, patches, testing, and implementation of new functionality.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, procedures, and training materials.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support business decision-making.
  • Assist with data migration, validation, cleansing, and testing activities.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting processes related to ERP data and reporting.
  • Train and support end users on system functionality, best practices, and process improvements.
  • Partner with Finance, Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT teams to support business objectives.
  • Monitor data quality and recommend corrective actions when inconsistencies are identified.
  • Participate in ERP-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Work Experience: 
  • 3+ years of ERP system administration, business analysis, or ERP support experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on Sage 100 experience required.
  • Experience supporting accounting, inventory, purchasing, manufacturing, or job cost business processes.
  • Experience participating in ERP implementations, upgrades, testing, or optimization projects.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with Crystal Reports, Sage Intelligence Reporting, SQL reporting, or business intelligence tools preferred.
  • Manufacturing, industrial, fabrication, or project-based business experience preferred.
Education: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights.  When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
