Summary:
Onset Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Sr IT Project Manager with expertise in Oracle ERP solutions including Oracle Cloud, and Oracle EBS. The ideal candidate will lead large-scale ERP implementation projects, manage cross-functional teams, oversee project governance, and drive successful delivery across complex enterprise environments. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and deep knowledge of Oracle ERP platforms and implementation methodologies.
Job Description:
The Sr IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading end-to-end Oracle ERP implementation projects, including Oracle Cloud ERP, and Oracle EBS. This individual will oversee project planning, budgeting, execution, resource management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
The role requires close collaboration with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and external partners to support enterprise-wide ERP modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex ERP programs, strong project governance expertise, and the ability to lead geographically distributed teams in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end implementations of Oracle ERP solutions including Oracle Cloud, and Oracle EBS.
  • Manage all phases of application projects including planning, budgeting, resource estimation, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Coordinate with business leads, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Oversee change management processes and obtain approvals for scope, schedule, and resource changes.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve escalations, and provide status reporting/dashboard updates to leadership.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, compliance requirements, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
  • Identify and mitigate operational and project risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executives, stakeholders, and geographically distributed teams.
  • Drive integration between business processes, current application environments, and Oracle ERP solutions.
  • Coordinate development activities with vendors and contract resources as needed.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • PMP certification required.
  • 12+ years of IT experience with at least 10+ years in ERP project management.
  • Strong experience managing Oracle ERP implementation projects (not upgrades).
  • Hands-on knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP, and Oracle EBS.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments with distributed teams preferred.
  • Strong leadership, project planning, and team management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with project governance methodologies and SDLC processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work in ambiguous environments.
