Job description

The Commercial Manager is on Group level responsible for developing, implementing and governing commercial processes, tools, standards, analytics and reporting across the organization. The role supports the commercial teams by reducing administrative workload, increasing commercial discipline and driving standardized ways of working. The ultimate objective is to maximize the time sales teams spend with customers and contribute to sustainable growth.

Reporting Line

Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

Key stakeholders: Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Operations, Finance, Customer Service and IT.

Key Responsibilities
  • CRM & Data Management: ownership of CRM governance, data quality, user adoption, dashboards and reporting.
  • Commercial Framework & Governance: develop and maintain commercial processes, sales guidelines, roles and responsibilities.
  • Contract & Commercial Governance: manage T&Cs, supply agreements, contract templates and commercial best practices.
  • Sales Tools & Enablement: implement and optimize sales tools, movement sheets, templates and commercial support tools.
  • Forecasting & Planning: facilitate forecasting, budgeting and commercial performance reviews.
  • Analytics & Reporting: develop dashboards, KPI reporting and management information; translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Management: act as the link between Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Operations and Finance to ensure alignment.
  • Continuous Improvement: simplify, standardize and automate processes to increase commercial productivity.

Profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in a commercial, sales operations or business support role.
