Northbridge University: We are looking for a Medical Billing & Coding Adjunct Instructor (Remote).


Medical Billing and Coding Specialist Diploma offers a comprehensive foundation in electronic health records (EHR), ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS II coding systems, and the medical billing cycle. You will learn to manage patient data, ensure accurate documentation, and process claims from submission to payment posting. The program emphasizes both technical and administrative skills to make you a versatile healthcare professional.


Minimum Requirements:

  • For remote roles, candidates must be located in the following states: AK, AZ, FL, GA, IN, NV, NH, NC, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, WA, and PR.
  • An associate's degree is required, in a health care field is preferred.
  • AAPC certification
  • Completed Diploma in Medical Billing and Coding, or Insurance.
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certificate.
  • Completed post-secondary training as a Medical Assistant, and three years of work experience at a minimum.
  • Prefer: Prior experience teaching in an online format or remote-live platform.
