Who You Are...
As Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for reviewing, monitoring and entering downstream contracts and agreements for Operational Finance's Shared Services Department, while ensuring compliance from a risk perspective in the areas of legal, insurance, and limits of authority. This person coordinates with branch management and the Company's legal department, when necessary, for any changes to contracts and agreements.
This Position...
Some examples of the work you might do includes:
  • Reviews and prepares purchase agreements, subcontracts, and other contracts as required.
  • Monitors the status of all pending contracts, and organizes and tracks all fully executed agreements.
  • Collects insurance requirements, release of liens, safety information, and other qualifying documents needed for compliance with vendors, customers, etc.
  • Analyzes proposed changes to terms and conditions, and coordinates approval by branch management and legal department, as determined by the Company's limits of authority.
  • Enters and commits all purchase agreements, subcontracts, and vendor contracts into Viewpoint.
  • Researches and resolves any pending invoice exceptions for downstream contracts to ensure change orders and contracts are in place prior to approving exceptions.

What You Need...
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, OR 2+ years of relevant, job-related experience in a service or construction industry (without a degree).
  • Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word in particular)
  • Must be organized, attentive to detail, and possess strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbally) with diverse audiences.
  • Capacity to produce results when working both independently and as a part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Viewpoint accounting software.
  • Additional law experience is a plus.
