Job Description

Fulltime outpatient surgery coder with at least 2 years of experience coding in cardiology preferably cardiovascular, cardiology, IVR procedures. Must be experienced with edits and denials. Experience with bariatric cases a plus. Cerner experience is a plus. The project will be working denials and edits primarily in cardiology with some bariatric as well. This is short term project estimated to be 3 months. The preferred schedule is M-F with hours worked between 7a-5p CST, there is some flexibility

Qualifications
  1. Outpatient surgery coder with at least 2 years of experience coding in cardiology preferably cardiovascular, cardiology, IVR procedures.
  2. Must be experienced with edits and denials.
  3. Experience with bariatric cases a plus.
  4. Cerner experience is a plus.
  5. Ok with a short term project estimated to be 3 months.
  6. Able to work M-F with hours worked some time between 7a-5p CST (not all the shift has the be but some hours do need to fall into this time frame
  7. Able to pick up new workflows and technology easily
  8. Able to ramp up productivity in 4 weeks
  9. Maintain 95% accuracy in all coding
  10. Good written and verbal communication
