Job description

One Federal Solution is hiring a Procurement and Acquisition Specialist to provide contract closeout support to support if Federal Government clients in multiple roles. Some of the responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide contract closeout support for various contract types using PRISM System
  • Work closely personnel to obtain DCMA and DCAA to performing contract closeout
  • Provide input for the preparation of reports, briefings, and spreadsheets
  • Enter all contract closeout actions, documentation, and data entry into PRISM
  • Track, monitor, transport and store the contract closeout files
  • Process, coordinate, and prepare contract modifications for closeouts, payments, vouchers, and invoices
  • Reconcile the total funds obligated match the total payments made
  • Determine the cause of contract funding discrepancies and prepare memorandums and Irreconcilable Packages detailing the issues
  • Review Quarterly reports of current and completed contracts and prepare and process modifications to de-obligate excess funds for those contracts

Required Skills
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
  • Minimum of 7+ years of procurement and acquisition experience for the federal government
  • Experience in all aspects of federal government contract closeouts
  • Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Department of Defense (DOD) Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
  • Experience with recovering usable funds from Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs)
  • Experience with Fund Reconciliation for federal government contracts
  • Experience deobligating funds for federal government contracts

Desired Skills
  • Experience with Department of Defense acquisitions and procurement
  • Possession of DAWIA Level II or FAC-C Level II certifications
  • Experience using the PRISM System for acquisition management (desired)
