Job Summary
Rodgers and Rodgers Consulting, LLC is seeking a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) to join our team in the critical role of conducting Veterans Compensation and Pension Exams. This is a 1099 independent contractor position ideal for professionals seeking supplemental income, a flexible schedule, and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of veterans and active-duty service members.
Our clinics operate Sunday through Friday, allowing you to customize your work schedule, including Sundays and evening hours. Exams typically involve one-time evaluations, without the need for follow-up appointments or ongoing treatment.
We are dedicated to fostering a supportive, professional work environment that helps our team achieve a balanced integration of their personal and professional lives.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive audiological examinations.
  • Review medical histories and accurately document findings.
  • Complete required reports associated with Veterans Compensation and Pension Exams.
  • Collaborate effectively with management, support teams, and partner organizations.
Position Details
  • Compensation:
    • $500 per full day (up to 8 hours).
    • $250 per half day (up to 4 hours).
  • Relocation Bonus:
    • Up to $5,000 for candidates relocating to Virginia.
    • Contingent on a minimum 12-month commitment.
  • Travel Expectations: Routine travel between Suffolk, Chesapeake, and Virginia Beach. Mileage reimbursement provided where applicable.
  • No sales, treatment plans, or long-term patient management required.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) required.
  • Active and unrestricted Virginia Audiology License.
  • Current malpractice insurance (or willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer and documentation skills.
  • Previous experience with Veterans exams is a plus, but new graduates are welcome!
