What is an online audiologist?

An online audiologist is a licensed hearing healthcare professional who provides audiology services remotely through telehealth platforms. They can assess, diagnose, and help manage hearing and balance disorders via video calls, phone consultations, and digital tools. Online audiologists can assist with hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, follow-up appointments, and counseling. This approach provides greater convenience and access to care, especially for individuals in remote or underserved areas.
